Media

We recognize the media as an invaluable asset in our effort to continually develop the market for recycled products. Although there is a lot of opportunity for businesses like ours, there comes with it an enormous responsibility. The relationships that are developed now not only continue to launch a budding industry, but more importantly, establish a ‘mainstream’ progression towards better management of our ever-decreasing natural resources.

There are few situations where discarded material can be recycled directly into a marketable product. In most cases, this debris must be sorted, cleaned and converted back into raw material, or ‘feedstock’, that can used in some form of manufacturing.

In the past, recycled feedstock carried the stigma of being problematic to work with. However, manufacturers are now recognizing that recycled feedstock can be clean, efficient, and extremely economical. Most recyclers have the ability to reengineer their feedstock to fit even the most stringent specifications, which makes their products the practical choice.

The development of recycled products also helps promote responsible oversight of solid waste by state and local governments, who are starting to realize the value of this material. Never before has an emerging market provided a means of promoting a chain of responsibility we can all be proud to take part in, as well as recover a sustainable environment.

Sincerely,

Dean Larson
